Aluminium and other light alloy die casting
Fonpress extends over a surface area of about 7000 m² and is divided into two distinct and well-structured units. The presses, the mould design technical office and the production office are located in one plant and the other unit houses the aluminium machining and finishing department, the warehouse, a further testing department and the offices.
The aluminium and light alloys die forming department has seven cutting-edge automated islands equipped with: presses, picking robots, holding furnaces, lubricators and automatic loaders.
The foundry has a smelting furnace with a 120m² capacity for transforming the aluminium.
Presses
Each press for die forming the alloys has its own holding furnace, inside of which the aluminium is further slagged in order to ensure a high level of quality.
