The Quality

Fonpress carries out rigorous checks and tests during all the production phases starting from the selection of the raw materials in order to guarantee high performance finished die cast products which meet the needs of the customer and comply with sector standards. In fact, the aluminium foundry carefully chooses the suppliers and only uses aluminium with high mechanical resistance, measurable by means of special instruments. In addition, stringent tests are performed on the prototype and the first sample of the die cast product in order to precisely assess its functional performance.

All the checks are performed using sophisticated tools, such as:
-Machines for industrial fluoroscopy (industrial fluoroscopy system CHF 160 GILARDONI)
-Three dimensional centre (HEXAGON POLI model) equipped with CNC measurement software and an electronic probe with relative automated probe holder.
-A simultaneous optical spectrometer for checking the alloys and analysing the composition of the raw materials.
-A GALILEO durometerz to measure the hardness of the metals and its measurement with all the necessary tools.
Fonpress can supply the testing report and certification of conformity of the die cast aluminium and the light alloys upon request of the customer.
